Argentina

The relatively recent recognition of Argentine wines has branded Argentina as a New World wine producing nation. However, Argentine winemakers see themselves as an extension of the Old World: the first growers in Argentina were from Europe (the Old World) and that heritage and experience has not been lost. Argentina's wine industry and its products are not old or new, they are something else - paradoxical perhaps, but certainly rich, complex and diverse in nature.
