Mayer Gamay 2021

Timo's Gamay comes from a vineyard in Dixons Creek, in the northern reaches of the Yarra Valley. It's an exceptional wine that has more in common with a structured Cru Beaujolais than a fruit-forward, new-world style of Gamay. Energetic, bouncy red fruits glide across the palate, with some whole-bunch sap and spice adding a lovely savoury dimension that pushes things into more brooding territory.
