Godelia Godello 2024

This is one of the few white wines from El Bierzo aged on lees. Godelia Godello rests five months on lees in tanks. What makes this wine special is the evolution of the white grape and the time in the bottle. Godelia Godello has a gift that is very hard to obtain: it is ideal for sitting around and chatting, since it is fresh and has a lot of character, but it is also excellent for pairing with food, thanks to its nuances and texture.

Bright straw in colour, it has an intense and fruity nose, in which stone and citrus fruits as well as white flowers are prominent. It has a mineral background and slight hints of fennel and freshly cut grass. In the mouth it is very creamy, fruity, and elegant, with its characteristic mineral and slightly saline notes, which together with the acidity give it a fresh and persistent finish.
