Product Notes

Varieties : 70% Cabernet Sauvignon + 30 % Garnatxa, Sumoll and another recovered varieties.

Comment: This wine expresses, the characteristics of a Mediterranean wine, with the personality that provides the recovered varieties and the land minerality .

Vineyards: . Mas d’en Tort: Located in Torrelavit and planted in 1983. Strains with a grape very small, steep terrain, calcareous clay and gravel. Being small vines, the grape are more proximity to the ground, making it more complete maturation . . Les Forques : Vine varieties recovered (0,5 ha), located in Les Gunyoles (Avinyonet del Penedès).

Varieties: Mandó found in a vineyard in Catalonia, Cannonnau (old Catalan Grenache grown in Sardinia), Monica (Sardinia) and Sumoll .

Preparation: Manual harvest in 10 kg boxes, making selection of the grapes in the vineyard. Cooled to 4 °C for 24 h . Macerated with the skins for 15 days performing "pigeage".

Aging: One year in used French oak barrels to respect more the grapes .

Bottled : July 2012 / Number of bottles: 3,800

Analysis: Alcohol : 14.5 % vol. Total acidity : 4.74 g / l Volatile Acidity : 0.50 g / l PH : 3.47

Tasting notes: Visually : ruby red with maroon tones . Aroma: Aromas of fresh blackberry, strawberry and floral point . Taste: Is mineral, sweet and very seductive. Balanced acidity that gives freshness and length .

Marriage: red meat.
