"The vineyard is located at the bottom of Caucasus mountains on the left from the river Alazani in Kakheti, Georgia. It was planted 480 m above sea level in 1980 on the humus-carbonated soil. The wine was made with the old Kakhetian traditional technology in Qvevri. The maceration period was for 7 month in contact with skin and stems. There are no additives and sulphur was used only as disinfection of Qvevris. The wine is unfiltered. The colour is warm amber, on the nose there are autumn flowers and on the palate, high tannins with long lasting flavours. It pairs with salty aromatic cheese and fatty pork."
