Vineyard located in Sagrada Familia, planted in loamy soil and driven in traditional trellis with furrow irrigation. The climatic condition of the valley and the good luminosity allow us to achieve the perfect grape maturity. These vines were planted in the 1930s
The good climatic condition of the valley grants this noble variety to achieve the correct maturity. Grapes are handpicked during the last week of April.
The winemaking techinque its oriented to obtain very aromatic and elegant wines. The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed gently for a long cold maceration. - The fermentation temperatures were moderate for a smooth extraction of the tannins; - Fermentation with selected yeasts;- Extended contact with the skin;- Complete malolactic fermentation.
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
FILTRATION Wine stabilized at cold temperatures and filtered <3 NTU, before bottling.
Intense red colour with purple tints.
Complex wine. At first, highlights of black fruits such as berries, mulberry and blueberry, then opens to floral notes and small notes of spices.
Silky tannins, with sweet notes and a balanced acidity.
HOW TO SERVE
Best served between 16-18°C.
