In the old days, people used flowers, herbs and spices to improve the taste of wine and, at some point in the course of these creative methods, the precursor of all vermouths was born.
We wanted to follow on in this thousand-year-old tradition and make a vermouth that was enhanced with the zesty aromas of the Mediterranean citrus fruits that are so intrinsic to our surroundings.
We blend an infusion of aromatic herbs with the peel of several different citrus fruits. After several months of maceration, we add an aged white Mistela (sweet wine) which we keep especially for this vermouth.
Aromatically intense and very pleasant. Memories of sweet herbs such as gentian, star anise, lemon verbena, quina and angelica. Both well-balanced and complex.
An elegant , smooth, refined and well-rounded palate with a slight sweetness and also a certain bitterness. An elegant citrus fruit finish ensures freshness and a superb aftertaste giving this vermouth a gourmet touch.
