This is a delicious blend of three vintages of monastrell grapes from the Yecla region of Spain. 85% 2012, 5% 2011 and 10% 2013 - a true time machine.
Deep ruby red with a hint of purple in the rim. Intense fruity nose with aromas reminiscent of black plums and a rich combination of both black and red cherries. Lovely developed aromas of cappuccino, dark chocolate,and sweet spice. Well structured palate, with fresh fruit, toasty oak, tobacco and a touch of minerality. Finishes full of black fruits, toasted oak, and smooth supple tannins.
