Intense ruby-red with a tendency to garnet-red; after aging, with orange reflexes and some "tuilé"; intense fresh aromas of cherries and raspberry; when young with expressive tannin; with increasing age smoothening, elegant, classy and rich, full-bodied with a long finish.
Alc: 13.5%; 100% sangiovese grosso; hand-harvested grapes; 36 months in classic large Slavonian barrels; bottled April 2009.
