Maroon colour with a violet rim showing its youth. Aromas of fresh, red and black fruits liquorice and floral notes. The taste is fresh & fruity, intense and moreish. Ideal for a great variety of dishes such as cut meats, rice dishes, vegetables, cheese, salads and stews.

Aromas of mature black fruit, toffee and balsamic as well as some mineral notes. This is a silky wine, but fresh and refreshing as well as elegant and persistent. Great with bar-b-que’d or grilled meats or strong cheeses.   

Manzanilla now has its own appellation (Denominacion de Origen; DO), being Manzanilla - Sanlucar de Barrameda.  This is due to its distinctive style and also its market acceptance and success.  The time has come to ask for a Manzanilla and NOT a "dry sherry".

Typical floral, sweet muscat aromas.  Delectable and sweet.  17.5% - superb poured over fruit salad or into a tall glass, over ice and with a splash of Angostura bitters.

Delicious, unctuous dessert wine.  Smells of very ripe/dried figs, molasses and caramel.  Superb with matured Roquefort, blue cheeses, pastries and poured liberally over good quality vanilla ice cream. Delectable on its own - keep away from children.

This wine has an average age of 40 years.  The evaporation that has taken place over these years has resulted in an alcohol content of 20% and deep, dark colour and flavours.  The nose has some very strong flavours of pastry, nuts and varnish (nice varnish).  The palate is powerful and complex with intensely concentrated flavours.  The finish is extremely persistent.  Food matches include almonds, matured cheeses, mushroom dishes, white meat and blue fish.  Superb and expensive!

Very pale and bright golden color, on the nose it presents a high aromatic intensity, stressing the fruity aromas.

In the mouth is cool, dry and light, fruity flavors.

This wine spends 24 months in oak and is a blend of 70% Tempranillo with Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo, blended post fermentation. Very solid, creamy, svelte nose with dense black fruit and chocolate. Quite charry and smoky. The palate has masses of concentration. Really grippy and mouthfilling, with a lovely juiciness cutting through the solidity of the fruit. Long and pure.

Tasting Notes:

Good varietal aromas of raspberry and other red fruit, as well as toasted, jammy, minty and herbal notes. Good acidity gives this Garnacha great freshness, despite the depth of fruit flavors. A long finish rounds it out.

Food Pairings:

Excellent with stuffed peppers, as well as hearty stews. Also pairs with many cheeses, particularly goat cheese.

Where else could you find such a grand, mellow, complex 9 year old, oak aged red at this price? It’s made by our old friend Pamela Geddes (who also makes our bestselling Monasterio de Santa Cruz) at the 500 year old Bodegas Ruberte. 60% of the wine is Garnacha from vines planted in 1958. They’re not as prolific these days but the intensity of flavour in the grapes is immense! The balance is Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds classic cassis character and structure to the juicier Garnacha. A rich and fragrant Spanish classic to enjoy with succulent lamb dishes.

An uncomplicated summer-wine with a distinctive muscat nose, and a vibrant palate.  Ideal for those spring and summer days, light and fresh.  Good with fruit and salads.  A blend of muscat, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and viura.

Golden yellow color, medium intensity. Aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, pineapple and fennel. The palate is smooth, wide and sweet. Include mineral notes near the roof of the old vines. Good acidity and bitter about their own variety. Long aftertaste.

QX quatre xarel.los (four xarel.los) is a monovarietal wine originating from vines as old as 54-60 years, from 4 different vineyards.

This wine has the hallmarks of a classic white wine, with great ageing potential.  The fruit, acid, oak and alcohol are in perfect balance and, while this wine is only but young, it already justifies its position as a great alternative to top-end chardonnays and its price.  Superb!

Only the very best grapes with the optimum level of ripeness were selected for this wine. All harvesting was by hand into into 15 kg baskets. The grapes were destemmed and then macerated for 24 hours on their skins. Finally, the wine was fermented in four different types of barrels: French oak, American oak, acacia and chestnut wood. The wine then ages for 8 months on its lees, employing the battonage process once a week

The union of Verdejo and Viura varieties, can achieve a wine fresh and intense with pleasant citrus aromas. Straw yellow-green with great intensity, fresh and elegant, this wine is perfect for any time of the day. With herbaceous notes, its nature assembles well with rock and river fish, rice and vegetables elaborated.

Color mahogany dark, clean and bright.

It has an intense aroma full of nuances, that pass through the wood and the vinosity of noble wines which comes, hence its uniqueness, quality and delicate flavour.
