Agricanto from the Borghi distillery in Annone Veneto region near Venice, is a liqueur that is immediately reminiscent of Maraschino cherries - luscious and delectable - marzipan and ripe red cherries. Agricanto is a superb complement to chocolate. This 25% alcohol liqueur is made on a base of raboso wine - which already has a marked cherry aroma - to which grappa, alcohol, sugar, cherry juice and a selection of herbs and spices are added. This blend ages for 3 months before being filtered and bottled.
